Todd Shorkey is a U.S. Coast Guard Licensed Merchant Mariner working as a Captain for the Bay City Boat Lines, as well as Fire Lieutenant/E.M.T. for the Portsmouth Township Fire Department. He retired from the Bay City Department of Public Safety, Fire Operations Division, in March of 2020 after more than 25 years of service, retiring as a Battalion Chief. Todd was one of the first firefighters on the scene when the fuel tanker, Jupiter, exploded and burned on the Saginaw River. Todd has also worked as a Deckhand for Malcolm Marine on the tug Manitou and is a FAA Certified Unmanned Small Aircraft System Pilot.
